I enjoy working with collectors and clients to make their vision for custom pieces become reality. A commissioned piece starts with your ideas. Send me an email detailing your vision, stories of your favorite landscape, and/or reference photos. From there, I will create a quick sketch to work out how to align your vision and my expertise.
Before beginning work on a commission, a down payment of 50% the total price is required to cover material costs. Pricing is based on requested square inches:
$6/square inch for figurative paintings
$5/square inch for most oil paintings
$4/square inch for for sizes 16”x 20” and larger
$3/square inch for other mediums (drawing and watercolor)
Shipping, framing and other costs may also factor into the total price. I like to keep the customer involved in each step of the project, from the initial sketch to the final touches. The timeline for finishing a piece depends on the size of the work and concurrent project demands. If a commission has a pressing deadline (i.e. for a gift), please expect an additional fee.
